Cambridge Engineering Better Care provides short courses based on the University of Cambridge Healthcare Innovation Programme. These courses showcase skills in systems leadership, engineering and innovation into effective tools, drawn from the EBC Toolkit, which can be deployed in research, quality improvement, or commercial arenas. Available as accredited one day or one week courses, or bespoke modules, these provide training in the practical understanding and improvement of healthcare technology and systems for those wanting to become future change and innovation leaders.

The Engineering Better Care Academy delivers Systems Leadership through its training, consultancy and membership programmes, underpinned by the EBC Toolkit. The Academy works directly with individuals, teams and organisations, providing a range of training programmes designed to accelerate collaboration and create positive engagement across industry and business. The EBC Academy’s inclusive and supportive membership structure, enables those looking to go beyond just being a practitioner of the toolkit, to become accredited trainers, providing shared learning across multiple networks. Our three-year part-time programme, delivered through the University of Cambridge, advances skills in systems leadership, engineering and innovation into effective tools, drawn from the EBC Toolkit. The skills can be deployed in research, quality improvement, or commercial arenas. Available as Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters levels, our courses provide training in the practical understanding and improvement of healthcare technology and systems.
